We’re looking for a Sr. Graphic Designer to lead the production needs of our Marketing Group. As the head designer, you will collaborate with internal partners in concepting design solutions that will elevate the consumer experience as well as champion the Zions Bancorporation brand. In this full-time position, the designer will be responsible for managing the Zions Bancorporation brand guide and developing and executing a wide range of design solutions from concept to completion, for external and internal audiences. 

 

Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to: 

  • Understand and implement strategic design methods and practices including typography, layout, color, and visual communication 

  • Work with internal clients to development, design, update and deploy visual designs 

  • Collaborate with the design team and advertising agency to ensure design continuity across all areas of focus and alignment to brand standards 

  • Manage multiple design projects effectively with critical deadlines 

  • Develop influential and collaborative relationships within and without the marketing team 

  • Possess strong oral and written communications skills to effectively communicate complex ideas/concepts to stakeholders 

  • Willingness to be a key contributor with big picture projects as well as day to day tasks. 

  • Remain flexible and take on other duties as necessary 

What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or a related field, and 7+ years’ work experience in Graphic Design (a combination of education and experience may meet requirements) 

  • A strong online portfolio, showcasing an aptitude for clean visual design 

  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) 

  • Proficiency in artwork production for print and digital solutions. 

  • Take constructive feedback well and work collaboratively with stake holders 

  • Critical, conceptual thinking with excellent attention to detail 

  • Ability to multi-task and thrive under the pressure of a deadline-driven environment 

  • Solid work ethic and desire to go above and beyond to get the job done 

  • Solid project management, organizational, customer relation and communication skills. 

  • Sound problem resolution skills 

Salary Range: $57,000 to $84,000 (depending on experience and other job-related factors) 

 

This is an in-office position that will sit at a local corporate hub 5 days a week. This is not a hybrid role.
