IT Platform Engineer - CIAM

We are seeking an experienced IT Platform Engineer to join our CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) platform team. The IT Platform Engineer (CIAM) should have an established expertise in identity and access management, authentication and authorization for secure system access across the banking organization.

In addition to application development, we manage the key platforms, services, and processes which enable modernized engineering and IT operations and delivery through DevOps and lean principles. Responsibilities:
· Responsible for business and technology analysis of division needs, mapping those needs to engineering and development efforts.
· Provide technical and operational support for specialized applications and systems and apply analytical tools and software application experience to enhance quality, productivity and overall effectiveness of users’ applications.
· Work closely with the CIAM Solutions Architect and CIAM development and support staff, as a major contributor to the success of the system.
· Assist in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of applications systems and utilize leadership skills as a member of the Agile team.
· Configure the infrastructure and environments for development, test, staging, production, and DR.
· Perform testing for production loads.
· Automate and set up build pipelines and deployments.
· Work On-Call Rotation and After-Hours work that is required to support responsibilities.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Experience with IAM technologies, preferably ForgeRock stack including Access Management (AM), Directory Services (DS), Identity Lifecycle (IDM), Identity Gateway (IG).
· Experience with CIAM capabilities, MFA, Identity lifecycle, Roles Management, Entitlements, Identity Governance, DevOps.
· Scripting experience in a Linux environment.
· Knowledge of DevOps, relational databases, and programming languages.
· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements and circumstances.
· Ability to elicit, gather and analyze user and business requirements.
· Ability to work in a consultative role.
· Attention to detail, understanding of mission-critical production support requirements, able to meet deadlines.
· Familiarity with Java, SQL, JavaScript, git, Azure DevOps and XLRelease/ XLDeploy is a plus.
· Experience with Containers is a plus.
· Requires solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
· Requires a bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems or related field, and 6+ years’ experience administering and developing customization of platforms or other directly related experience.
· A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Location:
This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
