We are currently seeking a full-time Financial Systems Manager to join Zions Bancorporation.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Oracle EPM Financial Systems Manager to lead the administration, optimization, and enhancement of our enterprise performance management systems. This role will focus on Oracle Cloud EPM applications including Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Data Management and Account Reconciliation. The ideal candidate will combine deep financial process knowledge with hands-on Oracle EPM expertise and leadership capabilities to drive system improvements and support enterprise-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud EPM modules (Planning, FCCS, ARCS, etc.)
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle EPM solutions
Manage metadata, business rules, forms, dashboards, and integrations within Oracle EPM
Oversee monthly releases, feature adoption and performance tuning for Oracle EPM environments
Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls related to financial systems
Maintaining and evolving SLAs with supported corporate planning activities
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of financial systems analysts
Coordinate and execute testing, training, and change management for Oracle EPM-related projects
Support month-end and year-end close processes through system reliability and automation
Undertake other duties as assigned in alignment with business needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on application support experience with Oracle Cloud EPM or similar platforms and at least 6 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting support function
Experience with Smart View, Data Management, and EPM Automate preferred
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and close processes
Experience with system governance, change control, and compliance frameworks
Prior experience managing or leading EPM implementations or enhancements
Proven ability to apply application knowledge to optimize and enhance financial processes
Skills:
Expertise in financial systems and processes
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple and/or changing priorities effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams
Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage team members effectively
Proficiency in test procedures and user documentation related to financial systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining high attention to detail
Location:
This position is located at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT. Occasional meetings occur at the Zions Bank Building in downtown Salt Lake City.
