EDI Specialist (hybrid schedule) - Midvale, UT

We are currently accepting applications for an EDI Specialist. The position does not have a set schedule. Some days the end time will be 6:00 pm-7:00 pm and some days 8:00 pm-10:00 pm with rotating Saturdays and Sundays 1-2 times a month.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Process inbound files and analyze data accuracy for customers, trading partners, and third parties.
- Set up new EDI processes on behalf of new trading partners.
- Ensure that files have loaded and processed.
- Monitor and identify when files do not load or are missing.
- Trouble shoot issues and work towards resolution.
- Maintain performance standards that ensure they are being met.
- Improve the process by reviewing the processing program and making adjustments as needed.
- Recommend solutions that will streamline the data transfer processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in processing and transmitting files or other direct related experience.
- File Transfer Protocol or Electronic Data Interchange experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Proficient knowledge of systems interface processes, processing and transmitting files.
- Good customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
- Must possess good time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel). Working knowledge of EDI, SQL languages and ETL processing.
