We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and insight-driven Data Analyst to join our dynamic team and elevate the analytics capabilities of the Enterprise Business Resilience (EBR) program. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of our resilience data strategy—transforming complex datasets into actionable intelligence that empowers leadership, informs risk decisions, and strengthens our ability to respond to disruptions.
Zions Bancorporation is accepting applications for our Data Analyst to join the Office of Enterprise Business Resilience working out of Zions Tech Center in Midvale, UT.
Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Governance
Lead the development and execution of the Enterprise Business Resilience data strategy for activities encompassed across the business resilience lifecycle.
Integrate structured and unstructured data sources into unified platforms that identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Analytics & Reporting
Translate complex resilience risk data into clear, actionable, intuitive visualizations that inform executive decisions using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Design and maintain advanced dashboards, models, and key risk indicators (KRIs) to support reporting and decision making across the resilience lifecycle.
Develop and run queries, reports, and updates against databases to monitor performance and identify risks.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with Enterprise Business Resilience leaders over various business resilience programs to define data requirements and deliver insights aligned with shared business goals.
Contribute to enterprise-level scenario planning, threat analysis, and strategic initiatives with a data-first lens.
Partner with leaders in Technology, Operations, Risk, and Security to align data strategies and reporting.
Act as a liaison with management and staff to resolve data-related issues and ensure alignment with business goals.
Engage with regulators, auditors, and senior executives to demonstrate resilience maturity through data-backed insights.
Technical & Operational Support
May perform project management functions as either a project manager or team member.

Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
6-8+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, enterprise risk reporting or resilience programs, designing and implementing dashboards, KRIs, and KPIs
Experience working in cross-functional environments (e.g., Technology, Risk, Operations, Resilience)
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Alik, or equivalent platforms
Data Languages: SQL; Python or R
Data Integration: Experience with structured and unstructured data sources.
Database Platforms: Oracle, Salesforce.com, Fusion Framework (preferred)
Familiarity with AppDynamics or similar monitoring tools
Strong ability to design and interpret dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
Familiarity with resilience disciplines such as:
Business Continuity
Disaster Recovery
Incident Management
Security
Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, OCC, ISO 22301)
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities under pressure.

At least 75% of the building is powered by on-site renewable solar energy.
