Are you ready to spearhead transformational initiatives in the fast-paced world of banking? We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Resiliency Program Manager to drive strategic projects that will shape the future of the Enterprise Business Resilience program for Zions Bancorporation.

 

The Governance Team within Enterprise Business Resilience helps to drive the evolution and convergence of related risk disciplines to deliver holistic business resilience, elevating the ability of Zions Bancorporation to more effectively anticipate, respond, recover and adapt to business disruptions in order to support tactical operational needs and strategic business goals. This remit includes a range of functional responsibilities from project management, program governance, and quality assurance, to internal/external oversight engagement, program reporting, and quality assurance.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead strategic projects for the Office of Enterprise Business Resilience, overseeing and driving efforts with excellence, from the initiation phase through to successful completion.
  • Drive the effective governance of the resilience programs consistent with corporate requirements, program mandates, and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to foster synergy and ensure a unified focus the timely delivery of exceptional results that elevate and enhance the broader program.
  • Monitor and manage resilience risk to the enterprise with the help of analytics, metrics and reporting for the program.
  • Proactive management for the program through the identification of potential roadblocks and opportunities, and the implementation corresponding action plans.
  • Architect and manage resilience workstreams, alongside related teams or individuals to ensure seamless execution and alignment with strategic program goals and commitments.
  • Spearhead the design and execution of program initiatives with detailed scope outlines, roadmaps, and project plans, to ensure timely delivery and exceptional results.
  • Interface with regulatory authorities to manage requests and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal oversight functions to implement and maintain effective risk management and compliance processes, managing oversight requests, issues and updates.
  • Establish an exceptional reporting program for Enterprise Business Resilience that provides detailed visibility into resilience risk and program performance.
  • Monitor and report to leadership and key stakeholders on project/program progress, tracking key performance indicators and adjusting strategies as needed.  
  • Develop and utilize strong working relationships to ensure thorough and effective management of assigned initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 4-6+ Years experience in program/project management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and change management practices and techniques, or other directly related experience. 
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and influencing skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and accountability for deliverables and deadlines, demonstrating initiative and a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing initiatives appropriately to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and build effective working relationships.
  • Strong work ethic with the initiative and capacity to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a wide range of tasks, projects, and responsibilities.

 

 

The position is located at the Zions Technology Center which is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company’s primary technology and operations center.  This modern and environmentally friendly technology center will enable Zions to continue to compete for the best technology talent in the state while providing team members with an exceptional work environment with features such as:
