Join our dynamic Treasury Management team as a Small Business Sales Associate, where you’ll use digital tools and bank referrals to grow Zions Bank small business treasury portfolio. This role focuses on identifying and offering tailored treasury management solutions to the small business segment ($3 million Gross Annual Revenue and less). You’ll work in a fun, creative environment with a team dedicated to innovation and driving results, collaborating closely with banking regions and branches. Engaging primarily through phone and digital channels, you’ll become the trusted go-to for clients’ Treasury management needs, earning referrals through your exceptional relationship-building skills. What Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with some experience in banking, financial services, or sales. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping small businesses grow and improve their cash flow through innovative Treasury products. They will also support branch employees by sharing product knowledge and expertise. The candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and is coachable and enthusiastic about working directly with clients to propose tailored solutions.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
Making outbound calls to prospective and existing small business clients to offer Treasury management solutions such as cash flow management, payment processing, and liquidity tools, alongside deposit accounts and other financial products.
Handling inbound inquiries from clients and banking partners daily.
Responsible for building proposals and submitting forms through our online small business banking portal.
Driving treasury management and deposit growth by promoting Treasury management products tailored to the needs of small businesses.
Seeking and securing quality new business through client and prospect referrals, focusing on Treasury management solutions to enhance financial efficiency for small businesses in this revenue bracket.
Complete enrollment, onboarding via digital platform and arrange training for new clients
Collaborating directly with banking regions and branches to identify client needs, coordinate Treasury management solutions, and support regional business development goals.
Generating qualified referrals while adhering to operational policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
Providing expertise in Treasury management products, helping small businesses and streamline operations and improving financial performance.
We Want Someone Who Has:
Some experience with treasury management products, bank products, sales, customer service or other directly related experience.
Experience with Treasury management products is a plus
A Bachelor's Degree. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Basic knowledge of customer support, sales, retention skills, and financial products, including Treasury management solutions like cash management, payment systems, and liquidity tools.
Experience expanding client relationships and cross-selling products, particularly to small businesses.
Training and presentation skills to effectively educate branch employees on Treasury management products.
Exceptional customer support, problem resolution, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to have direct conversations with clients and partners
Working knowledge of MS Office software, particularly Word and Excel.
Location: Five days in-office in one of these locations:
Boise, Idaho
Logan, Utah
Salt Lake City, Utah
Salary: Base + Commission
