As a Part-Time Strategic Initiatives Specialist, you will support our Cross-Affiliate Marketing team on a variety of exciting projects. You will improve our online visibility and drive organic traffic to our websites. Marketing supports various lines of business go-to market strategies through six affiliate financial brands across the western U.S.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in execution of digital marketing projects, including social media and email marketing campaigns
• Optimize website content (meta tags, headings, and content structure) to ensure content accuracy and a positive user experience
• Coordinate with the marketing team to develop SEO strategies and boost organic web traffic
• Conduct keyword research and analyze SEO trends to improve ranking opportunities
• Monitor digital ads, SEO campaign development, rankings, traffic, etc. for recommended improvements
• Build high-quality backlinks from relevant websites
• Research and knowledge share SEO, digital advertising, and web development trends with the management team
• Assist in building presentations and finalizing marketing deliverables
• Contribute to additional marketing tasks or strategic projects based on organizational needs, ad-hoc reporting or support as requested by the Office of the CMO.
Qualifications:
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations or another related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of SEO (preferred)
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively with people
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
