Graphic Designer/UX Designer Intern 

Summer 2026 Paid Internship  

May thru mid-August 
 

This internship is not eligible for relocation assistance. Local candidates preferred.

Our expanding marketing team is building something special—a dynamic, in-house Creative Studio and innovative Demand Center that will transform how we connect with customers. As a Graphic Designer/UX Designer Intern, you will support our Creative Studio and our Cross-Affiliate Marketing team on a variety of exciting projects. Cross-Affiliate Marketing supports various line of business go-to market strategies through eight affiliate financial brands across the western U.S. 

 

This intern can have either a graphic design or a UX design background or both. Please include a few samples of your work or a link to your portfolio in your application.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist designers with daily tasks developing a range of digital and print-based marketing graphics including product launch campaigns, digital ad banners, and more 
  • Create and define concepts based on brand values and creative briefs with potential to produce finished work 
  • Assist in building presentations and finalizing marketing deliverables 
  • Create and design templated digital materials to support various business lines 
  • Communicate design solutions through sketches, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes 
  • Define user test plans, conduct testing to validate concepts, and transfer insights into quality experiences 
  • Use graphic design software to create deliverables that adhere to brand guidelines 
  • Collaborate with the Cross-Affiliate department to assist with other marketing projects as needed 

Qualifications 

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, Technology Management, or another related field 
  • Basic knowledge of layout, typography, and other design fundamentals 
  • Experience with Figma, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator 
  • Ability to work effectively with people 
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form
