We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Banker to lead new business development efforts in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships from the ground up, enjoys networking in the community, and is energized by cold calling and prospecting. Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business acquisition through proactive outreach, cold calling, and networking with local businesses and community organizations.
Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and pursue high-potential prospects, converting them into long-term clients.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through referrals, events, and direct engagement.
Serve as a trusted advisor by recommending tailored financial solutions that meet the unique needs of each business.
Collaborate with internal partners to cross-sell banking products and services, contributing to overall deposit and loan growth.
Conduct regular client visits to deepen relationships and uncover new opportunities.
Maintain a strong understanding of each client’s business and financial goals, ensuring personalized service and support.
Meet or exceed performance metrics including portfolio growth, new client acquisition, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, or a related sales role.
Proven success in cold calling, lead generation, and closing new business.
Strong credit analysis and loan structuring skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a passion for building relationships and driving results.
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as but not limited to, level of experience, skills, expertise, location, education, and certifications. This position is in-office 5 days a week.
